About Me
Before I tell you about me... I want to start with you.
You might be here because…
-
Your mind doesn’t seem to shut off, even when everything is technically “fine”.
-
You replay conversations and worry you said the wrong thing.
-
You feel stuck in patterns you understand... but can’t seem to change.
-
You overthink decisions, relationships, or whether something is “right”.
-
You feel disconnected- from your body, your partner, or yourself.
-
Intimacy feels stressful, complicated, pressured, or confusing.
-
You want closeness, but something inside pulls you back.
Many of the people I work with are insightful, reflective, and trying really hard. From the outside, things may look put together. Inside, it can feel exhausting, like your mind is always working, analyzing, questioning, or bracing for something.
Sometimes this shows up as anxiety or OCD.
Sometimes it shows up in relationships: difficulty communicating, feeling misunderstood, or repeating the same painful dynamics.
Sometimes it shows up in intimacy: low desire, tension around closeness, or feeling disconnected from pleasure.
Whatever brings you here, you don’t have to have it all figured out first.
My Approach
I don’t see you as a list of symptoms. I see a person whose mind and body learned certain patterns (often for good reasons!) that are no longer serving you.
In our work together, we slow things down and make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface. At the same time, we gently work toward change, helping you step out of cycles of overthinking, avoidance, or disconnection.
For anxiety and OCD, this often means learning how to:
-
Relate differently to intrusive thoughts.
-
Tolerate uncertainty without constant reassurance.
-
Stop getting pulled into mental loops.
-
Build trust in yourself again.
For relationships and intimacy, we focus on:
-
Feeling safer expressing needs.
-
Understanding emotional reactions (yours and your partner’s).
-
Reducing pressure around closeness and desire.
-
Reconnecting with your body and sense of ease.
People often describe therapy with me as:
-
Thoughtful, not rushed
-
Warm, but also gently challenging
-
A place where they feel deeply understood
-
Focused on meaningful change, not just venting
My role isn’t to give quick answers. It’s to help you understand your patterns in a way that actually shifts how you feel and how you live.
